My red extra high Converse All Stars arrived today and I love them! I was surprised that delivery all the way from Canada to Ireland only took six days, and I wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service you gave to me in helping with converting prices, postage, and shoe sizes.

The shoes fit perfectly and are exactly what I wanted- they feel comfortable and look a little bit different to what most other people are wearing, and I’ve been trying to find an extra high pair of All Stars for over a year. Having moved three years ago from a big city in England to a small coastal town in Ireland, my only complaint about where I live is that there isn’t all that much choice here when it comes to buying more unusual shoes. I’m picky and a bit of a non conformist, so I’m difficult to please when it comes to what I put on my feet. With that in mind though, the variety at Baggins is fantastic. All of the other websites I looked at either had a great range of shoes but they didn’t ship to Ireland, or they were able to ship to Ireland but didn’t have anything that I liked, so finding Baggins has been like a breath of fresh air. I’m really impressed with both the service and the amount of choices that you guys offer.

But I bought the white and green skull van slips and they are my favourite shoes they are extremely comfy and I wear them for everything from going to school or for gym they are just amazing. I have very small feet and Baggins is one of the few stores that sells my sizes for vans slips and chucks. I live in New Brunswick and Heelys were no where to be found. They are not available here. My son really wanted a pair for his birthday, so I was on a mad search to find them. To the owner of Baggins,
I felt compelled to send you an email last night but after speaking with Bridie today, I must do it now! I will add a little colour commentary to make it interesting.....
I have two teenage sons (19 and 15 years) Their father and I were both elite athletes, their dad wrestling in the '84 Olympics.
Neither of them showed any interest whatsoever in 'conventional' sports. In many ways we were relieved. Sport at a high level takes it's toll not only physically but emotionally. (we are divorced)
A couple of years ago they discovered 'hack' and they blow me away with what they can do with that thing!
According to them the best shoes for hack are Converse Chuck Taylor's. Now, they are not only into alternate sports but alternate everything. clothes etc.
Well, the selection of Chuck Taylor's here in Vancouver is pathetic. We took a trip down to the States to try to find something interesting. Nothing. We went to the Converse website and found that not only did they have extremely limited sizes, but they don't ship to Canada! We were appalled and disappointed. Meanwhile, my 15 yr old is wearing Chucks' that are totally blown out the side.
Well, what to do....I did a google search last night, clicked on your link and WOW! I yelled for the kids to come up and we immediately ordered 2 pairs of shoes online.

Now, for the kudos':

This morning I was thinking......my younger son Liam has been working extremely hard in school and gets his first formal report card mailed out on Friday. (honour roll) He had deliberated over choosing one of 2 pairs of shoes last night. I thought, hey, why not order him the other pair for working so hard in school. This morning I phoned your store to add another pair to my order and spoke with Bridie. What a delightful person she is!
So, in conclusion, your website is now in my favourites list on my computer. I will definitely pass on the word to anyone I can.
I'll probably be making some Christmas orders!
