About Baggins

Baggins has one of the largest selections of Converse shoes, in one store, anywhere in the world and we ship to just about any country.

We are located in #110, of the Paper Box Arcade at 561 Johnson Street in downtown of Victoria, beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The postal code is V8W 1M2. The Paper Box Arcade is located directly across the street from the main entarnce to Market Square.

Baggins had its retail business beginnings in Victoria a long time ago, as it was established in 1969. At that time we offered various novelty products, posters, blacklights, incense, etc.

In 1973 we moved to Market Square, on lower Jonhson Street in Victoria. At the same time we changed our focus to casual fashions featuring natural fabrics.

We started selling Chucks in the mid 1980's, and with the first pair sold, we knew we were on to something good. We seemed to please our customers with the variety of our selections. We have always carried all the core colours in addition to seasonal updated colours, and we carry all sizes with all 1/2 sizes as well.

We try to keep this site as current as possible with adding new styles . Lately, we have expanded our on-line store to include the Vans label - another exciting brand and Heelys, the shoe with a wheel in the heel.
